It’s very adventurous of me! I’ve decided to finally complete an ABC album of my children. I’ll be making all of my own supplies along the way and sharing my experiences with anyone who wants to play along. Come check it out in the ScrapDelicious fourms. Then, head over to the shop to pick up the free introductory mini-kit: “Scrapping the Alphabet: Letter A.”

I hope you join me on my new adventure!

Time for another blog train! The theme this month is “Traditions.” Growing up, a tradition my family had was picking out a  fresh Christmas tree each year, tying it to the top of our car, and decorating it once we got home. Each trip was a new adventure. I remember one year we had picked out our tree, but we had to take the tag off and pay for it at the front of the store, leaving our tree at the back. We drove around to pick up our tree and my dad noticed that it had a very long trunk. So, he he used the saw they had sitting there to trim it down, only to realize that it wasn’t our tree!

Well, I hope you can use my part of the blog train to scrap your Christmas tree memories!

You can pick it up HERE.

Then, head over to the next stop on the blog train. I’ve posted a couple around me just in case someone hasn’t posted their part yet.

Happy scrapping!

After being a bit missing in action this summer, I thought that joining a design contest just might be the jump start my mojo needs! So, I entered the Designer Apprentice competition at DSA.

For Week 1, our challenge was to extract two items and then use them in a mini-kit. Of course, my scanner is not working right now, so I photographed some silk flowers and extracted them to make the layered flowers for my kit. I’ve been wanting to make a carnival themed kit for some time now. This seemed like the perfect opportunity, so I bring to you… “Summer Fair.”

It is free for download on the DSA website for a limited time, so snag it while you can! I hope you enjoy it (and wish me luck on the contest! The winner gets some awesome prizes!)

Happy scrapping!
